Langz is a language learning app that combines flashcards, adaptive quizzes, pronunciation practice and free conversation with Orb, our conversational AI. The idea is to close a full learning loop, from vocabulary to speaking practice.

The languages available in the app are: English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese (Brazil) and Portuguese (Portugal).

Langz uses three combined learning features: Flashcards: study cards with audio focused on pronunciation, words in contextualised sentences and translation. Adaptive quizzes: practice exercises in Listening, Writing and Speaking modes, with difficulty adjusted to your level. Conversation with Orb AI: free or topic-based dialogue practice with our conversational AI.

The concept is simple: you see the front of the card and decide whether you already know the content. If not, the back is revealed with the translation and examples of the word used in context.

Listening: you hear a word or phrase and select the correct translation from four options. Writing: you practise writing with translation exercises, word selection or question-and-answer activities. Speaking: you say the phrase out loud and the AI evaluates your pronunciation by segment, with a score from 0 to 100 and specific improvement tips.

Orb is Langz's conversational AI. With it, you practise free or topic-based conversation (work, travel, shopping, health, culture) in your chosen language, using voice, text or both at the same time. Orb adapts to your level and your goals. All interactions with Orb AI follow confidentiality and data protection guidelines, in compliance with the LGPD.

Tokens are the currency of conversation with Orb. Each message exchanged (your input + Orb's reply) uses 1 token. Basic plan: 15 tokens per week. Plus plan: 75 tokens per week. Unused tokens do not roll over between weeks.

Tap the "Progress" icon and a summary of your study performance will appear immediately. Langz has two dedicated sections: Your Progress Here you will find your total XP earned, day streak, study time per day, week or month in a bar chart, plus your daily, weekly and monthly study averages and accuracy rate per skill — vocabulary, sentences and warm-up. Activity History Records every activity completed with the XP earned, the accuracy rate and the total correct answers.

During onboarding, you can take an optional adaptive test that estimates your level in your chosen language (A1 to C1), based on Listening, Writing and Translation questions with increasing difficulty. The placement suggests a learning path, but it is optional and can be adjusted at any time. You can retake it in Settings → Learning → Retake placement.

Langz does not issue certificates or diplomas. Our app is designed for practical language learning, focused on developing vocabulary, understanding idiomatic expressions and real conversation with Orb AI. The progress and skills you gain are the main reward for your effort in the app.

With the Plus plan you get: 75 weekly tokens; Orb AI in chapters; Onboarding and placement with Orb AI.

Cancellation is done directly through your carrier or provider (Vivo, Tim, Claro, etc.). The plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
